Reading is Magic demonstrates how inspiration can be found in a book; how a story can change one’s life. Offering his own life story as inspiration to others, Ed the Wizard promotes and encourages the building of reading skills to all of his audience members.

Please join the Lee Youth Commission for our final Second Saturday Gym Night on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 5:30-7:00 pm, at the Crossway Tower Gym at the back of 130 High Street in Lee, for a fun evening of dodgeball for kids ages 6-11.

Join us to hear a story and make a craft*!
Kids and caregivers are invited to stay at the library after Storytime for Stay & Play! We’ll keep the party going with toys, games, puzzles, and snacks for the kids, along with coffee, tea, snacks, and time for connection for the caregivers! Families are not required to attend Storytime to join in on Stay & Play - stop by when you can!
*Second Saturday of the month, the craft project is replaced by creative movement with Laurel Lenski and no formal Stay & Play will be held but families are always welcome (and encouraged!) to hang out in the library.

WILDLIFE BALLOON ANIMAL TWISTING WITH ED THE WIZARD
Lanesborough, 2 p.m.
Participants will learn the art of balloon twisting from Ed the Wizard as they create their own elephant, giraffe, and more. No balloon twisting experience required but is best suited for ages 7 and older; children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Held in the Town Hall Community Room, 83 North Main St. Registration is required by calling the library at 413-442-0222.
